AMERICUS — Effective Monday, Phoebe Sumter patients wishing to pay medical bills in person will need to report to a new location east of downtown Americus. The Phoebe Sumter business office is relocating from the hospital to 922 E. Jefferson St., Suite C. The location is adjacent to Phoebe Primary Care & Sports Medicine of Americus.

The move will free up space in the hospital for clinical services and should improve access to the office. Parking is available right next to the new office entrance, and patients will no longer have to enter the hospital to complete their business.

“We apologize if patients who are used to coming to our hospital campus to pay their bills experience any inconvenience,” Phoebe Sumter Vice President & Controller Michelle Doggett said. “We are committed to providing the same great service to our patients, and we look forward to serving them in this more convenient location.”
