ALBANY — Renaissance Connection Inc. is presenting an art exhibition from Henry Lee Gorham at the Albany Area Arts Council beginning next month.

The exhibit dates are Feb. 7-March 21 at the arts council facility with gallery hours of noon-4 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday and noon-8 p.m. on Thursday. The artists’ reception will be at 6 p.m. on opening night.

“This will be an opportunity to meet Mr. Gorham and experience Smallgrove, which is his fictional community that depict the lives of African Americans,” a news release from Renaissance Connection said.

The Renaissance Connection is an arts and cultural non-profit organization dedicated to supporting creativity through all forms of art for the educational advancement of the community.
