Lee Chamber seeks banquet nominees
Honorees to include man, woman, small business of year

LEESBURG — The Lee County Chamber of Commerce will host its 28th annual Chamber Banquet on Nov. 10 at the Bindery at Oakland Library. The chamber will honor various people and businesses throughout the area who have had significant impact on the community.
Chamber officials are asking for the community’s help in selecting individuals and businesses to be recognized at the banquet. They are seeking nominations in seven separate categories. The nominations must be turned in to the chamber by Sept. 30.
The award categories include: Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Partner in Agriculture, Partner in Education, Ambassador of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
— Person/business must live/serve in Lee County;
— Include accomplishments and contributions for the past five years;
— No elected officials;
— No board members of the Lee County Chamber of Commerce;
— Cannot be deceased (except for Lifetime Achievement Award).
