Leesburg ranch to host two-day horse clinic

Renowned horse trainer Michael Gascon works with a bucking horse at a crystal clear communication clinic last year at Michelle Morton’s Hootie’s Horse Haven ranch in Leesburg. Gascon, whose horses on his Mississippi ranch have been used in a number of films, will conduct a second two-day clinic at Morton’s Smithville Road ranch next Saturday and Sunday. Gascon will work with up to 10 horses — and their owners — a day at the clinic. Participants and spectators who buy tickets can enjoy camping, food and drinks throughout the two days of the clinic, which starts at 9 a.m. both days. (Special Photo: Tammy Fletcher)
