NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tickets will go on sale Friday for country superstar Luke Bryan’s annual Farm Tour, but it’s not likely Bryan’s fans in the Southeast — and his hometown of Leesburg — will get to take in this year’s tour … unless they’re willing to do some traveling.

Bryan’s “Bayer Presents Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2017” includes six shows in the nation’s Midwest, taking the four-time country Entertainer of the Year from Nebraska to Kansas to Iowa to Indiana to Illinois to Missouri. Presale tickets for the shows will start today for Bryan’s fan club members (The Nut House) only. Tickets may be purchased by that group utilizing the singer’s app and utilizing Citi card membership at www.CitiPrivatePass.com.

Additional presale tickets will be available through radio and Spotify on Wednesday and through the tour’s sponsors via their digital platforms on Thursday. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday starting at 10 a.m.

Reigning Academy of Country Music New Male Vocalist of the Year Jon Pardi will be among the support acts at each stop on Bryan’s Farm Tour. Other acts will be added to the lineup at each stop.

Performances on the Bayer Presents Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2017 include:

Sept. 28 — Lincoln, Neb., Benes Farm;

Sept. 29 — Baldwin City, Kan., Don-Ale Farms;

Sept. 30 — Boone, Iowa, Ziel Farm;

Oct. 5 — Fort Wayne, Ind., Spangler Farms West;

Oct. 6 — Edinburg, Ill., Ayers Family Farm;

Oct. 7 — Centralia, Mo., Stowers Farm.

Since the Farm Tour’s inception in 2009, Bryan has awarded 50 college scholarships to local students from farming families within the communities the tour has played. A total of more than 100,000 fans have gathered on the farms each year for the series of performances.

Bryan has once again partnered with CID Entertainment to offer the Harvest Time VIP Experiences throughout the 2017 Farm Tour. VIP ticketholders watch the show from an exclusive VIP viewing area and have access to VIP-only restrooms, private cash bar and charging station; receive a limited edition Luke Bryan Farm Tour mini bluetooth speaker, and have access to other perks. Information on VIP packages is available at CID Entertainment.

The Bayer Presents Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2017 is sponsored by Cabela’s, Chevrolet, Miller Lite and Citi. For additional information, including where to get tickets, go online to www.lukebryan.com/farmtour.

Promoters and representatives of both Bryan and “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips, also a Lee County native, say they’re still working to finalize details for a Bryan/Phillips show in Albany to benefit victims of Jan. 2 and Jan. 22 storms. Scheduling has so far been the primary issue for the delay.
