Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany closes down for day of mourning
Many MCLB-Albany employees excused from work due to national day of mourning

MCLB-ALBANY — Officials with Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany have announced that, in accordance with President Trump’s executive order to observe a national day of mourning for former President George H.W. Bush today, most employees at MCLB-Albany will be excused from work.
The installation will continue to support a limited number of essential operations. The commissary will be open during normal operating hours. The Naval Branch Health Clinic and the pharmacy will be open during normal operating hours, as will the barber shop, Kelly’s Dry Cleaners and the Navy Federal Credit Union.
Various Marine Corps Community Services programs and facilities will observe the following hours:
— Marine Corps Exchange: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
— Subway: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
— Daniels Fitness Center: 9 a.m. -3 p.m.
The following entities and services aboard MCLB-Albany will be closed:
— Food and Hospitality
— Town and Country Restaurant
— Pin City Bar and Grill
— Wings and More Cafe
— OORAH Café
— Officers’ Club
— Information, Tickets and Tours
— Child development center
— Auto Skills Center
— Outdoor Adventures
— Lifelong Learning Center
— Behavioral Health
— Thomason Gym
