Destructive weather exercises conclude at MCLB-Albany

The purpose of the event was to assess the ability of base and tenant personnel, first responders and others in dealing with a tornado strike and possibly other disasters. During the two-day exercise, the mass notification and Ad Hoc warning systems sounded throughout the base providing information regarding weather conditions as well as passing time-sensitive information related to the exercise.
