Ava Gabriel Edwards hospital’s first baby of the new year

ALBANY — Staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital delivered five babies on New Year’s Day. Ava Gabriel Edwards, born to Kadeidra Jackson and Bobby Edwards, was the first baby of the new year, born at 12:46 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Ava weighed 7 pounds and nine ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long. According to Phoebe officials, the New Year Baby and her parents are happy and healthy.
