Rep. Austin Scott hosting Military Service Academy Day
Event set for Sept. 10 at Warner Robins museum

WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Austin Scott, R-Tifton, will host the 2016 Military Service Academy Day event on Sept. 10. Academy Day provides students currently in 8th through 12th grades, their parents, and counselors with the opportunity to learn about and speak with representatives from the five U.S. military academies.
The event begins at 10 a.m. at the Eagle Building at the Museum of Aviation, located at Highway 247 and Richard B. Russell Parkway, Warner Robins.
Academy representatives from each service branch, Georgia Military College and the University of North Georgia will be present to provide information and answer questions about the application and admissions process. Members of Scott’s district office staff, along with representatives from Georgia’s U.S. senators’ offices, will also be available to assist with nomination applications.
