Lady pizza customer said our drivers need to get their act together. I would suggest that customer come apply for a driver’s position and show us how easy and quick it can be trying to deliver 75 orders in a 45 minute window.

Please keep politics out of the Sports section.

Billy Mathis says the gloves are off with Dougherty County. I sure hope so, because Chris Cohilas will chew Billy Mathis up and spit him out as if nothing happened. “Bow tie Billy” should do himself and Lee County a favor and crawl back into the hole that he came out of.

After seeing the dash cam from the county patrol car stopping Commissioner Hayes, does anyone doubt his bullying tactics of Mr. McCoy? That piece of evidence almost guarantees success in the lawsuit against the county.

This year’s rings look like last year’s championship rings. Oops, what rings? None, zip, nada. Players deserve better.

Why does WALB say, “live, LOCAL, late breaking?” There is no local news, it’s Valdosta, Thomasville and so on. Why not Albany, Lee, Sylvester? Is there no local news? Albany Herald always has local news. Wake up, WALB.

The relationship between our county commission chairman and the law firm that he works for doing work as Phoebe’s attorneys certainly has to be a conflict of interest. If I had to take a guess, I would say the hospital administrator has threatened to withdraw its business from the law firm if the Lee County hospital gets built. Therefore, he will appeal the CON all the way to the Supreme Court. It doesn’t matter the cost to the county, he is only worried about his salary.

Thanks, Dougherty County commissioners, you made my decision easier to move my business to Lee County when my lease expires shortly. I’ll pay no more tax money to this county.

Just to be a savvy shopper, when my auto and homeowners insurance came due, I checked other companies. I found that once you reach 70, you are “treated like a teenager” when it comes to premiums. That is what two very visible companies (because they have fancy new buildings) gleefully told me.

I’ve never been an advocate of boycotts, but the vindictive actions by Dougherty County Commission Chairman Chris Cohilas and County Attorney Spencer Lee suggest it may be time for Lee County residents to consider boycotting Dougherty County businesses and restaurants. The Dougherty County Commission needs to represent the interests of its citizens and not Phoebe Putney.

Please allow Lee County to attend to their business, Albany. We have enough of our own to attend to. (County commissioners’ mess still hanging over our heads)

To the city manager’s office: Please be focused on the prejudiced activities in the Parks & Recreation Department.

Maybe all the underage drinkers when caught should serve street cleanup duty for 40 hours. That is a weeklong work week for most people. Anyone caught in a burglary act or other crime, make the parents responsible for restitution. Make the parents deal with the kids to get them straight.
