A recent Herald photograph pictured County Administrator McCoy with a wide smile. No wonder, he who sued the entire County Commission over an altercation with one member is now in charge. Who wants to work with someone who is sue-happy?

Albany city leaders: Your continuously going outside the city when you have local businesses who could meet your needs (vehicles/signs/roads/debris/repairs) will prove to be a catalyst to drive us out of your town. You boast about “buy local” and you NEVER do. Local companies reinvest in their community; outside companies take your funds elsewhere.

Trump touts his constitutional mandate to defend this country as justification for a wall on our southern border. How does that same responsibility not mandate that he support a thorough investigation of the Russian interference in the 2016 election?

The stories about Billy Shores and Kevin Smith and their hawks is fascinating. Makes me want to go out and get one of my own.

Loved, loved, loved the Three Dog Night show Friday. What an impressive thing it was to see the Municipal Auditorium packed with people who were there having a good time. Thanks for a fun review of the event.

Yep, a Captain D’s would be mighty fine at the K-Mart Center. Somebody call them up and offer a spot.

Weak-minded people are easy to control. Trump was a Democrat for years before he realized the ones he needed to manipulate and deceive to enter politics. Many people knew Trump was a dishonest liar from his business history. Some Republicans will follow their leader into the fire and complain about the temperature.

Thank you, Ben Kirkland, and the folks at Chehaw for the wonderful Frontier Festival over the weekend. The story in The Herald had it right: It was entertaining and educational.

Why would God need to test us if he already knows the future?

Reference those red dirt/mud roads: Why can’t Terrell County get millings (ground up old pavement), rubble rock from old sidewalks, gravel, etc.? Then go to the worst sections of those roads, spread it out, and start expanding it as they get more material. It is less expensive, easier to maintain, and can quickly get done. Help those folks out.

The Democrats and many of you are making the border wall/shutdown about President Trump. Think. Our country’s sovereignty depends on controlling illegal immigration. Border walls work. They do not discriminate, they are color blind and do not distinguish languages.

Rest assured, you Lib-Dems, we will follow Trump to the ends of the earth and beyond.

Fletcher, your politics stink, but when you write about music, you’re obviously in your element. Loved your review of the Three Dog Night concert. I was there, and it was amazing that age hasn’t taken those guys’ voices.

Your math is a “zero” off on the city’s portion of the sign repairs. You must work for the city.
