Shipmates sought for annual iwo Jima reunion

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The USS Iwo Jima (LPH2/LHD7) Shipmates Organization is holding a reunion in Jacksonville, Fla., Oct. 10-13 for all ship’s company and embarked Navy and Marine Corps personnel who were on board the LPH-2 or the LHD-7.
The reunion will take place at the Doubletree Hotel Jackson Riverfront. Events scheduled include such activities as a pizza party for early registered guests, a memorabilia room, dinner theater, a tour of Jacksonville, a sock hop, photo shoots and a banquet dinner.
