Vizorre is now open for business
Uncommon styles bring shoppers into Vizorre
By Jada Haynes
ALBANY — Vizorre, a new shop offering business-casual attire and “work-to-church” clothes and jewelry, officially opened its doors to customers Friday morning.
The owner, Vickie Roney, said the modest styles found at Vizorre “allow you to simply embrace your statement.”
Once people made their way inside, Roney said she received compliments on the store’s selection and layout from customers throughout the day.
“We’re optimistic,” Roney said. “As they come in, they are really surprised to see what we have to offer. Other than one person, I think everybody has made a purchase when they came in, so that’s a positive. They also said that they liked the fact that what we have is different. What we have is what you don’t normally see in most stores, especially when it comes to fashion and jewelry.”
Roney makes some of the apparel and jewelry herself, and that drew some customers on opening day.
“We had one gentleman come in, and he gave an allowance for his mother to come up and shop up to a certain amount,” Roney said. “We’ve had interesting people come in, and it’s been going steady. We were wondering about the weather because (it rained) off and on, but that didn’t stop a few people from coming in.”
Vizorre is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday and is closed Sundays. The shop is located at 2224 Palmyra Road. For more information, customers can call (770) 855-1418 or visit the store’s website at Vizorre.com.
