Whitesides to perform at Wild Aventures

VALDOSTA — Teen sensation/social media darling/chart-topping singer/budding entrepreneur Jacob Whitesides, whose debut EP “A Piece of Me” shot straight to the top of the iTunes singer/songwriter chart, will kick the All-Star Concert Series at Wild Adventures Theme Park into high gear Saturday.

Whitesides’ performance is the first of three huge shows by pop music superstars scheduled at Wild Adventures during the concert season. Also scheduled to appear are Hailee Steinfeld and Andy Grammer.

A social media darling with more than 5 million fans, Whitesides is touring on the strength of his “A Piece of Me” EP, which includes the hit single “Secrets.”

Whitesides, who at 18 is CEO of his own touring, merchandising and record label (Double U Records), is set to take the stage at 8 p.m.

General admission to the entire 15-act Wild Adventures concert series, as well as Splash Island Water Park and the new-this-year Dinosaur Explore exhibit, is included with the purchase of a season pass at the park or with the purchase of a daily pass. Season passes are available at $15 off regular price through April 24.

A limited number of reserved seats are available for each concert in the series for $10, or $5 for gold passholders. Reserved seats purchased on the day of the concert are $15.
