Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany gate to soon undergo construction

ALBANY — Motorists using the Fleming Road entrance to Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany should soon anticipate delays going in and out of the base for about a month.

The main gate at MCLB-Albany is scheduled to undergo construction beginning March 22. Incoming and outgoing traffic will be impacted and personnel entering and exiting the installation should expect changes in traffic pattern and potential delays.

Base personnel authorized to access to the installation via the Johnson Road gate should do so, base officials said.
