Most wanted fugitive surrenders at Dougherty County jail

ALBANY — The Albany Area Crime Stoppers Most Wanted Fugitive of the Week, listed on page 4A of Friday’s Albany Herald, has surrendered at the Dougherty County jail.

Jail officials say Floyd Harold Baxter Jr., 33, presented himself voluntarily sometime in the “very early” morning hours Friday. Baxter is charged with four counts of theft by deception and is held on an $8,000 bond, officials say.
