ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 38 incidents Wednesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Missing person on the 200 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Theft by taking of $182 from a cash register at a restaurant on the 1600 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Deceased person on the 1300 block of Lee Street;
— Theft by taking cell phones on the 2300 block of Georgia Avenue;
— Underage drinking on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Simple battery on the 2500 block of East Alberson Drive;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 800 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Entering an auto on the 1200 block of Hampton Court;
— Computer crime, forgery; a former employee reportedly stole more than $1,000 from a business on the 900 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Burglaries on the 600 block of Lucille Street, the 100 block of Cordele Road and the 600 block of Tulsa Lane;
— Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 600 block of Moultrie Road and the 1900 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Assaults (family violence) on the 600 block of Moultrie Road and the 700 block of Wheeler Avenue;
— Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 1600 block of First Avenue and the 2300 block of Andrews Garden Court.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 12 calls Wednesday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Vehicle crash into a tree that fell on the 1800 block of Eight Mile Road.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 11 calls Wednesday including three electrical shorts, two activated alarms, a fire drill with no advance notice, vehicle crash with injury, tree limb on power line, vehicle fire, vehicle crash with no injuries and an EMS assist.
