ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 44 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Interfering with a city officer on the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue;
— Theft by taking a $200 bicycle on the 1600 block of Maryland Drive;
— Theft by taking, felony, stolen jewelry on the 1300 block of Colquit Avenue;
— Deceased person, natural causes, on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way;
— Entering an auto; theft of tools from a pickup truck on the 1200 block of Westover Boulevard;
— Theft by taking, felony, on the 200 block of South Jefferson Street;
— Burglary, theft of copper pipes from a seven-unit vacant building on the 600 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Battery on the 1200 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Forgery in the first degree of a business check on the 800 block of 21st Street;
— Robbery by snatching on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Armed robbery on the 300 block of Cordele Road;
— Theft by taking, nine tires worth $450, from cars at a salvage yard on the 1800 block of Westover Road;
— Stolen dog on the 1300 block of of South Madison Street;
— Simple battery on the 2000 block of North Harding Street;
— Assaults on the 1300 block of Bonnie View Avenue and the 1800 block of Melrose Drive;
— Vandalism (family violence) on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Domestic dispute on the 200 block of Johnson Road;
— Domestic disputes (unfounded) on the 1000 block of Whitney Avenue, the 500 block of Robinson Court, the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road, the 2100 block of Beachview Drive, the 300 block of Slater King Drive and the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 12 calls Tuesday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Drunken driving arrest after a stop for speeding at the intersection of West Oakridge Drive and Newton Road;
— Wanted person arrest after a traffic stop at the intersection of North Jefferson Street and West Roosevelt Avenue;
— Vehicle search after a traffic stop on the 1400 block of West Oakridge Drive.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least eight calls Tuesday, according to reports. Deputies responded to incidents including:
— Disturbance, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana, less than an ounce, on the 1500 block U.S. Highway 19;
— Theft of an air conditioner on the 100 block of Paloma Drive;
— Harassing phone calls and terroristic threats (family violence) on the 2600 block of State Highway 195;
— Recovered property, a black four-door 1997 Nissan Maxima, on the 2800 block of Ledo Road;
— Terroristic threats and stalking on the 100 block of Mayfield Drive.
