ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 16 incidents Friday, according to police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Theft of $112 in services from a bar on the 2500 block of Dawson Road. The manager of the bar called police after a patron “had received 26 different types of alcoholic beverages,” a police report stated. The patron tried to pay with a credit card, but the credit card company denied payment. The patron was arrested;
— Theft by taking a television on the 1300 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Simple battery on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Shoplifting (felony) of a tray with 20 gold rings from a jewelry store on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Battery on the 2700 block of Ledo Road;
— Leaving the scene of a vehicle crash on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Defecation in public, police responded to a call that an intoxicated man was trying to expose himself on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue. The report stated the man urinated on the sidewalk. He was arrested;
— Burglary on the 700 block of West Third Avenue;
— Burglary on the 500 block of West Shadowlawn Drive;
–Simple battery (family violence) on the 1200 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Criminal trespass (family violence) on the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive;
— Assault on the 1600 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 13 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Traffic crash, a vehicle traveling west on the 4000 block of Leary Road went into a ditch and struck a tree. No charges filed;
— Burglary (residence), theft on the 300 block of Virginia Avenue of a television, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, four purses, $75 in currency and several items of jewelry for a total of $3,029 in stolen goods;
— Burglary (residence), theft on the 400 block of Virginia Avenue of a Coca-Cola cup holding $20 in cash and 90 Seroquel prescription pills in original container.
