ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 28 incidents Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Burglary on the 3000 block of Schlling Avenue;

— Theft by taking a firearm on the 1000 block of Inverness Road;

— Entering auto theft of a handgun on the 100 block of South Davis Street;

— Burglary on the 600 block of Johnson Road;

— Criminal trespass damage to a trampoline on the 500 block of Longhorn drive;

— Burglary on the 2000 block of Whispering Pines Road;

— Burglary on the 1500 block of Argonne Drive;

— Burglary on the 3000 block of Winterwood Avenue;

— Dog bite of a 5-year-old on the 900 block of South Drive;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 700 block of West Society Avenue;

— Confinement of animals, dogs left loose on the 1400 block of Mulberry Avenue attacked a chained Jack Russell terrier, dragged it to the street and killed it;

— Theft by taking a handgun, a felony on the 2500 block of Slappey Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE:

Dougherty County police responded to at least 24 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Property damage, following hearing a gunshot a resident found a dent in a rear passenger door of his 2002 Ford F-150 parked on the 3400 block of Clark Avenue;

— Missing person (recovered), a juvenile was charged with unruly juvenile complaint and returned to his legal guardian on the 3000 block of Woodridge Court;

— Traffic crash involving a deer on Eight Mile Road north of Ga. Highway 62;

— Missing person, a 12-year-old girl who has run away before was reported missing on the 3000 block of Woodridge Court;

— Child molestation reported on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

— Family violence (simple battery) on the 200 block of Wade Drive; a mother struck her daughter and the daughter stabbed herself in the leg.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 50 calls on Tuesday. There were 38 medical calls, eight trauma calls and four other calls. Medical calls included, three chest pains, nine respiratory problems, two nausea vomiting cases, one fainting, one altered mental state, two diabetic complaints, one seizure, one obstetrics, two mental problems, three miscellaneous pain calls, one stroke symptoms and 12 various medical. Trauma calls included one vehicle crash injury, four falls and three fights/assaults. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
