ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 38 incidents Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Criminal trespass, two juveniles went into a vacant house to have sex on the 1600 block of McArthur Street;

— Motor vehicle theft, abandoned vehicle on the 1000 block of Slappey Boulevard;

— Motor vehicle theft of a 1999 Ford Explorer on the 1900 block of Groveland Road;

— Entering auto, theft of a half-carton of Doral cigarettes from a vehicle parked on the 2000 block of Hilltop Drive;

— Forgery in the first degree, a bogus $20 was passed on the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Armed robbery, four black males reported to have pulled guns and stolen property at an apartment on the 2000 block of Broad Avenue;

— Discharging a firearm in the city limits on the 400 block of Don Cutler Drive;

— Theft by deception of scrap metal on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Animals running at large on the 1000 block of Lee Street and the 1300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Barking dog on the 1500 block of West Fifth Avenue;

— Burglary on the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive, 1600 block of Avelon Avenue, 1600 block of Worrell Court, 1500 block of North Washington Street, 100 West Third Avenue, 1000 North Washington Street.

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 1300 block of Hobson Street and the 1900 block of Lynwood Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 38 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Burglary of a house on the 3600 block of Council Road. A neighbor saw two men leaving a home carrying a 42-inch television. A resident came home and the men dropped the television and fled on foot. The would-be thieves hid a rifle and shotgun in the woods behind 3700 Countryside Drive as they fled. Officers recovered the weapons.

— Lost property, a $3,000, three-stone, white diamond ring was left at a business on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road;

— Juvenile drug investigation resulted in the arrest of a juvenile for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, ecstasy and a 9 mm handgun;

— Child abuse investigation of a child’s report of being beaten with a stick on the 3000 block of Woodridge Court;

— Theft of $920 worth of miscellaneous vehicle parts from a utility shed on the 800 block of Strout Avenue;

— Theft of a computer system from a business on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;

— Traffic crash with injuries on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road; a driver was charged with failure to stop for traffic device.
