ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 17 incidents Friday into the early hours of Saturday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Aggravated assault on the 2400 block of South Jackson Street and the 400 block of Cordele Road;

— Sexual battery on the 1300 block of Mercantile Drive;

— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of Cherry Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 2200 block of South Washington Street;

— Burglary on the 2300 block of Old Dominion Drive, the 100 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 900 block of Jeffries Avenue;

— Deceased person on the 300 block of Mock Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 300 block of Oakridge Drive;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 200 block of Edward Drive and the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 29 calls from Tuesday through Thursday including:

— Three public safety programs, four cardiac arrests, five activated alarms, three electric shorts, two false alarms, a gas leak, an alarm test, a vehicle crash, a trash fire in a barrel, first aid, a smoke odor, fire in a laundry room following a child playing with a lighter, damage: $7,00, smoke in a building, hose burst in vehicle and two unattended cooking calls.
