ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 19 incidents Tuesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Entering auto on the 900 block of West Fourth Avenue and the 200 block of Second Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Wanted person on the 300 block of Acorn Street and the 600 block of Corn Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 2000 block of Cone Drive, the 1300 block of Mercantile Avenue, the 1900 block of Riverview Circle and the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 200 block of Thornton Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 2100 block of Habersham Road, the 1900 block of Palmyra Road and the 200 block of North Van Buren Street;
— Burglary on the 700 block of Andover Lane;
— Battery on the 2300 block of Davis Street;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 1200 block of Edgewood Lane;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 300 block of Lexington Drive and the 500 block of South Jackson Street.
ALBANY FIRE:
Albany firefighters responded to 32 calls including:
— Two fire-safety programs, child pulled an alarm, six activated alarms, cigarette started fire in flower bed that charred outside of building, an unauthorized burn, a grass fire, two vehicle fires, five false alarms, two animal rescues, a trash bin fire, fuel leak from vehicle, three EMS assists, a fire investigation report, a fire prevention report, an overheated clothes washer motor, smoke in area and two unattended cooking calls.
