ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 26 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— A 15-year-old boy admitted to burglarizing the 1509 Radium Spring Road CVS pharmacy at about 2 a.m. Wednesday and stealing 21 cartons of cigarettes;

–Theft by taking on the 1300 block of East Society Avenue, the 800 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 600 block of Canoe Court;

— Burglary on the 700 block of Mobile Road;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 100 block of School Street;

— Drunken driving on the 2300 block of Dawson Road;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 300 block of Moultrie Road, the 2300 block of Clark Avenue and the 1800 block of Mississippi Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE:

Dougherty County police responded to at least 13 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Vehicle crash involving a deer on the 4700 block of Gillionville Road, on Georgia Highway 62 at Tarva Road and on Georgia Highway 62 at Coakley Avenue.

— Traffic arrest of a woman driving with a suspended license on the 2900 block of Gillionville Road;

— Vehicle crash on Georgia Highway 3 at Easy Way Street;

— Lost property a license tag on the 6000 block of Elliott Drive;

— Traffic arrest for driving without a license on the 1500 block of Liberty Expressway.

ALBANY FIRE:

Albany firefighters responded to 70 calls from Dec. 29, 2010 to Tuesday including:

— Smoke from a barbecue, three gas leaks, seven electrical shorts, a trash bin fire, 11 grass fires, three false alarms, four medical assists, two vehicle fires, remove a bag of sand from the Ray Charles statue’s head, a smokehouse fire, 15 activated alarms, a public service presentation, a vacant church on fire, four unattended cooking calls, a yard debris fire, a motor vehicle crash with injury, a motor vehicle crash with no injury, an animal rescue, an overheated air conditioner, a downed power line, an overheated motor, wash fluid off road, an arson investigation, a trash fire, a barrel fire, a cardiac arrest and a house smelling of smoke.
