ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 62 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Burglary on the 200 block of Marie Road, the 1600 block of 1600 East Broad Avenue, the 3200 block of Winterwood Avenue, the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue the 300 block of Slater King drive, the 1400 block of Whitney Avenue, the 400 block of West Mercer Avenue and the 600 block of West First Avenue;
— Theft by conversion a rental vehicle not returned on the 100 block of West Slappey Boulevard;
— Entering auto on the 1200 block of Dawson Road;
— Forgery, a bogus $50 bill passed on the 1000 West Gordon Avenue;
— Child abuse allegation on the 600 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Gas drive off on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Armed robbery: A man was robbed at gunpoint on the 2200 block of South Madison Avenue;
— Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 1600 block of McArthur Street and the 900 block of Leisure Court;
— Battery (domestic violence) on the 1000 block of North Monroe Street and the 800 block of West Residence Avenue;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 700 block of Wheeler Avenue, the 200 block of Nona Drive, the 2500 block of Cardinal Street, the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue and the 100 block of Reese Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 19 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Animal control, an abandoned dog on the 900 block of Roland Drive;
— Domestic (verbal) on the 500 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Domestic led to a woman breaking a cell phone and a warrant for her arrest on criminal damage to property charges;
— Traffic arrests at the intersection of U.S. 19 and Holly Drive and the intersection of South Mock Road and Cutts Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 51 calls on Wednesday. There were 34 medical calls, 16 trauma calls and one other calls. Medical calls included, five chest pains, three respiratory problems, one choking , two faint, four altered mental state, one diabetic complaints, two mental problems, four miscellaneous pain calls and 12 various medical. Trauma calls included three vehicle crash injuries, nine falls, two lacerations and two bites. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to six calls including:
— A fire safety program, two active alarms, a canceled call, a false alarm and an electrical short in an air conditioner.
