ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 35 incidents Saturday and Sunday, according to available police reports. They included the following:

— theft by shoplifting on the 2300 block of W. Gordon Ave. and the 1100 block of W. Broad Ave.;

— damaged mailboxes on the 2500 block of Kenilworth Road;

— criminal trespass on the 600 block of Sands Drive and the 400 block of Ebony Lane;

— domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 2100 block of W. Gordon Ave.;

— theft by taking on the 2000 block of Acker Drive and the 1900 block of Ridgemont Road;

— disorderly conduct on the 1800 block of E. Broad Ave. and the 1400 block of S. Jackson St.;

— aggravated assault on the 1400 block of Avalon Ave.;

— entering auto on the 2500 block of Dawson Road;

— simple battery on the 1100 block of N. Harding St.;

— drug overdose on the 2300 block of W. Gordon Ave.;

— aggravated assault and cruelty to a child in the third degree on the 500 block of S. Van Buren St. Carla Martin stabbed her roommate, Kanika Smith, in a domestic dispute Sunday. Martin was arrested.

— defecation in public on the 2500 block of Dawson Road;

— simple battery on the 1100 block of N. Harding St.;

— assault on the 1400 block of Whitney Ave.;

— cut vehicle tires on the 400 and 500 blocks of Ebony St.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to as least 44 calls Saturday and Sunday. The incidents included the following:

— domestic violence (verbal) on the 2900 block of Wren Ave. and 400 block of Redbud Road;

— wanted person arrest on the 400 block of Philema Road and the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— family violence on the 6000 block of Elliott Drive;

— criminal damage on the 500 block of Southgate Ave.;

— theft on the 2800 block of Spelman Drive.
