ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 48 incidents Friday into the early hours of Saturday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Aggravated assault, a man was found shot in the left leg, laying in the grass in a fetal position on the 700 block of West Highland Avenue. The victim’s name was not reported and no further information was immediately available;
— Entering auto on the 100 block of South Harding Avenue;
— Battery on the 2200 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Damaged mailboxes on the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive;
— Rape on the 300 block of South Harding Street;
— Structure fire on the 600 block of Burke Avenue, vacant building on fire, Albany Fire Department on scene extinguished the fire;
— Burglary on the 500 block of East Broad Avenue, the 200 block of South Monroe Street, the 600 block of West Mercer Avenue, the 2400 block of Dawson Road, the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue, the 300 block of Johnson Road and the 1300 block of North Jackson Street;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 1500 block of South Radium Springs Road, the first block of Patricia Drive, the 2200 block of Gail Drive and the 1800 block of Gadsden Drive;
— Assault (family violence) on the 1400 block of Tift Avenue;
— Terroristic threats (family violence) on the 400 block of Alice Avenue;
— Simple battery, criminal trespass (domestic violence) on the 1800 block of Gadsden Drive;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive and the 400 block of Cedar Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE:
Dougherty County police responded to at least 31 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Burglary (business), theft of a $750 Whirlpool stove on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;
— Fraud, a thief obtained an e-mail account and asked all the account holder’s friends to send $1,500 into her account. It wasn’t her account. The report was on the 4700 block of Stagecoach Road;
— Fraud, a victim sold a diamond bracelet on eBay for $14,000 sent the bracelet to England before money cleared on a PayPal account. It didn’t clear. The report was on the 2700 block of McCall Court;
— Drunken driving vehicle crash with injury on the 2100 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Battery (simple) on the 2300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Found property, two bicycles found on the 2600 block of North Jefferson Street.
