ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 47 incidents Monday into the early hours of Tuesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Theft by conversion; a police report stated that an employee at Popeye’s Chicken on the 1400 block of Slappey Boulevard took two deposit bags with $1,693 in them home, but no arrest was made;
— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue;
— Aggravated assaults on the 200 block of Morningside Drive, the 600 block of North Washington Street, the 500 block of North Central Street, the 400 block of Wells Avenue and the 1000 block of Oakridge Drive;
— Armed robberies on the 1000 block of South Madison Street and the 400 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Theft by taking an air conditioner on the 500 block of Flint Avenue;
— Entering an auto on the 1200 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
— Damage to mailboxes on the 700 block of Dartmouth Lane;
— Reckless conduct, three counts, on the 600 block of Sands Drive;
— Simple battery on the 1400 block of Sixth Avenue;
— Injured person on the 400 block of Williams Street;
— Burglary on the 600 block of Sands Avenue;
— Domestic disputes (unfounded) on the 200 block of Broadway Court, the 100 block of Wells Avenue, the 100 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 400 block of South Harding Street, the 400 block of Florence Drive and the 100 block of North Washington Street;
— Robbery (family violence) on the 100 block of Whittlesy Court;
— Assaults (family violence) on the 1900 block of Flintlock Drive and the 500 block of South Cleveland Street;
— Simple assault (domestic violence) on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Assault, vandalism (family violence) on the 1700 block of Greenvale Road;
— Aggravated assault, criminal damage to property (domestic violence), on the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Road;
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 37 calls Monday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Theft of $2,200 worth of rims and tires from a Chevrolet Suburban on the 1300 block of Miller Street;
— Theft of a $1,000 utility vehicle on the 5600 block of Sassafras Avenue;
— Domestic violence (verbal) on the 3000 block of Tiger Court;
— Burglary, theft of $350 worth of materials, on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;
— Entering an auto, theft of a $300 car stereo, on the 1700 block of Moultrie Road;
— Burglary on the 1300 block of Gibson Road.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least five calls Monday, according to reports. Deputies responded to incidents including:
— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Churchill Circle;
— Burglary, theft of a 25-inch television, on the 100 block of Kinchafoonee Creek Drive;
— Wanted person on the 2900 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Disturbance on the 100 block of Quail Valley Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 43 calls from Friday-Monday, including 14 activated alarms, a carbon monoxide alarm, a television fire, a trash fire, three cardiac arrests, two electrical shorts, arcing wires, three public service presentations, two malicious false alarms, two false alarms, a structure fire with $18,000 in damage, two animal rescues, power lines down, tree over, two vehicle fires, an alarm malfunction, administer CPR on a medical call, medical assist, unattended cooking and a vehicle crash.
