ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 54 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Motor-vehicle thefts on the 400 block of West Residence Avenue, the 1700 block of Gillionville Road, the 1300 block of Blaylock Street and the 2400 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglaries on the 4000 block of Gillionville Road, the 300 block of Shadowlawn Drive, the 400 block of Cannon Avenue, the 1400 block of 11th Avenue, the 200 block of Valencia Drive, the 2100 block of Jackson Street, the 900 block of Cedar Avenue and the 400 block of Medlock Avenue;

— Entering an auto on the 600 block of West Third Avenue;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of West Roosevelt Avenue and the 300 block of Mock Road;

— Theft by taking, felony, on the 400 block of Fifth Avenue;

— Armed robbery: One of a group of men flashed a gun and robbed another man who was not part of the group on the 1800 block of West Madison Street;

— Assaults (family violence) on the 400 block of West Society Avenue, the 100 block of South Washington Street and the 900 block of Wall Street;

— Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Battery (domestic violence) on the 200 block of Cone Street;

— Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 300 block of Avalon Avenue, the 4500 block of Chateau Drive, the 2400 block of Nottingham Way and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 23 calls Tuesday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Traffic crash involving a deer at the intersection of Moultrie Road and Honeysuckle Drive;

— Burglary, $500 damage to a business on the 300 block of Westover Boulevard;

— Traffic crash on the 3300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Criminal damage, a 2002 Nissan Altima had its windshield broken by a brick and its tires punctured on the 200 block of Holly Drive;

— Theft of $1,607 worth of vehicle batteries and antique farm equipment on the 1700 block of Dorough Avenue;

— Motor-vehicle theft of a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am on the 700 block of Cordele Road;

— Animal investigation of a German shepherd reported loose and a man who threatened to shoot the dog because he thought it would attack him on the 400 block of Holly Drive;

— Traffic accident of a single vehicle that left the road onto the shoulder, turned back and crossed center lanes before overturning. The crash resulted in the hospitalization of the driver and warrants issued for drunken driving on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive about a half-mile south of Story Lane.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 66 calls on Tuesday. There were 56 medical calls, nine trauma calls and one other call. Medical calls included seven chest pains, eight respiratory problems, three people who fainted, four altered mental state, one diabetic complaint, one seizure, three obstetrics calls, one mental problem, three miscellaneous pain calls, three stroke symptoms, one choking and 21 various medical. Trauma calls included four vehicle crash injuries, three falls, one laceration and one fight/assault. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 11 calls Tuesday, including a passenger vehicle fire, two activated alarms, one electric wire short, two trash fires, a child’s arm stuck in vending machine, pile of leaves on fire, grass fire, malfunction of a pilot light on a heater and a motor vehicle crash.
