ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 35 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Motor-vehicle theft on the 900 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Computer theft, fraudulent refunds, on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Armed robbery involving a handgun with no injuries on the 2300 block of Sharon Drive;
— Financial card transaction fraud on the 1100 block of Auburn Street;
— Aggravated assaults on the 300 block of South Mock Road and the 700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Missing juveniles on the 1300 block of East Tift Avenue and the 800 block of Corn Avenue;
Missing person (adult) on the 1100 block of East First Avenue;
— Burglaries on the 1300 block of Gillespie Avenue, the 300 block of South Jackson Street and the 1700 block of 11th Avenue;
— Battery (domestic) on the 2200 block of Jackson Street;
— Assaults (family violence) on the 1300 block of South McKinley Street and the 1200 block of Van Deman Street;
— Simple battery (domestic) on the 1100 block of Rood Street;
— Theft (family violence) on the 300 block of Corn Avenue;
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 35 calls Wednesday through Thursday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Domestic violence (verbal) on the 1400 block of the Liberty Expressway and the 200 block of Paige Street;
— Public intoxication on the 1400 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Theft of more than $200 in jewelry on the 4800 block of Mustang Drive;
— Domestic violence (simple battery) on the 3500 block of Sylvester Road;
— Sexual assault (child molestation) on the 3200 block of Staton drive;
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to six calls Thursday including an electrical outlet short, three false alarms and a grass fire.
