ALBANY — Albany Police Department officers responded to at least 38 incidents Monday, according to reports. The incidents included:
— Destruction of a mailbox on the 1800 block of Northwood Drive;
— Criminal damage to property on the 600 block of West Society Avenue, the 300 block of Vick Street, the 500 block of Pinson Road and the 800 block of Willie Pitts Road;
— Criminal trespass on the on the 500 block of Pinson Road;
— Theft by taking on the 2700 block of Meredyth Drive, the 2100 block of Habersham Road, the 900 block of Willowood Drive, the 1000 block of West Highland Avenue, the 200 block of Church Street and the 1200 block of Clark Avenue;
— Injured person on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 1800 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 200 block of Doncaster Drive, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 2100 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Recovered property on the 300 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Burglaries on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 800 block of Willie Pitts Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 13 calls and four incidents Monday and Sunday, according to reports.
— Theft on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 1800 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Lost trailer tags on the 3000 block of Lark Avenue and the 700 block of McCollum Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency Medical Services responded to 59 calls over the weekend. There were 42 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and four other calls. Medical calls included one chest pain, twelve respiratory problems, four mental health, four altered mental status, one seizure, one OB/labor call, three diabetic issues, one cardiac arrest, one possible stroke symptoms and three miscellaneous pain calls and 14 various medical calls. Trauma calls included nine vehicle crash injuries, two falls and two people were bitten. Other calls are typically standby for other units and
patient transport.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 35 calls, including one controlled burn, eight activated alarms, one gas leak, three vehicle accidents, one cooking fire, two gas leaks, arcing wires, two smoke odors, two vehicle fires, one animal rescue, one trash fire, three structure fires, one grass fire, one vehicle fire, pipes burst, downed power lines and seven EMS assists.
