ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 55 incidents Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2300 block of Palmyra Road;
— Theft by taking on the 1400 block of Cleveland Street and theft of copper on the 500 block of 16th Avenue;
— Forgery of checks on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road;
— Burglary on the 800 block of Faulk Lane, the 1000 block of Harding Street, the 900 block of West First Street, the 100 block of South Jefferson Street, the 400 block of Cedar Avenue, the 1200 block of Van Deman Street, the 500 block of Alice Avenue and the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
— Entering auto on the 1200 block of Hilltop Drive;
— Missing juvenile on the 800 block of Residence Avenue and the 600 block of 11th Avenue;
— Financial card transaction fraud on the 2300 block of Meadowbrook Drive;
— Simple battery on the 2200 block of Pearce Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 2500 block of Alberson Drive;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 900 block of Friendship Drive, the 100 block of Marie Road, the 2300 block of Gordon Avenue and the intersection of Pineview Avenue and Marie Road;
— Battery (family violence) on the 1200 block of West Waddell Avenue and the 2700 block of Oakridge Road;
Assault, vandalism (family violence) on the 400 block of West Society Avenue;
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 24 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Domestic violence (simple battery) on the 3500 block of Blue Springs Road;
— Recovered property, a 1990 Chevrolet Caprice stolen from Albany and stripped;
— Criminal trespass warning on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Recovered motor vehicle reported stolen on the 2200 block of Willingham Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 64 calls on Wednesday. There were 43 medical calls and 21 trauma calls. Medical calls included, eight chest pains, nine respiratory problems, one faint, three diabetic complaints, one seizure, five mental problems, two miscellaneous pain calls and 14 various medical. Trauma calls included 10 vehicle crash injuries, five falls, one laceration, two eye injuries, one bite and two fights/assaults. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 22 calls including:
— Seven activated alarms, two unauthorized burning, a vehicle crash clean up, two trash fires, three grass fires, two medical assists, a water leak, a public service program, unattended cooking, a cable line down and a check on a smoke detector.
