Albany police responded to at least 54 incidents
ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 54 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Motor vehicle theft on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Theft by taking a firearm on the 1500 block of East Tift Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 600 block of Sands Drive and on the 1400 block of Elva Street;
— Dog bite reported on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue;
— Burglary on the 1000 block of First Avenue, the 900 block of Seventh Avenue, the 1400 block of East Second Avenue and the 1600 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Possession of drug paraphernalia on the 800 block of Seventh Avenue and the 1400 block of Lee Street;
— Terristic threats and acts on the 500 block of Pinson Road;
— Child molestation, a 20-year-old man was reported to have had sex with a 14-year-old girl on the 1200 block of East Fourth Avenue;
— Violation of business hours allowing the sales of alcoholic beverages at a billiard parlor on the 1200 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by taking a go-kart on the 1000 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;
— Vandalism (family violence) on the 1800 block of West broad Avenue;
— Fraud (family violence) on the 900 block of Moultrie Road;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 100 block of Mitchell Avenue, the 900 block of 10th Avenue, the 900 block of Wall Street and the 200 block of Kalman Avenue;
— Criminal trespass (domestic) on the 900 block of Cleveland Street;
— Assault (domestic) on the 2700 block of Cardinal Court;
— Cruelty to children reported on the 1100 block of lee Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE:
Dougherty County police responded to at least 15 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Harassing phone calls on the 1300 block of Williamsburg Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 400 block of Cloverleaf Drive;
— Drunken driving and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 2100 block of Cordele Road;
— Family violence (verbal) on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Animal control investigation on the 6000 block of James Drive. Three puppies and mother dog taken to animal control shelter.
LEE SHERIFF:
Lee County deputies responded to at least seven calls, according to police reports.
Deputies responded to incidents including:
— A man recently released from jail reported that when he returned to his residence on the 100 block of Laurelwood Court it was stripped bare of $6, 780 worth of furniture by his two, live-in girlfriends;
— Theft of $1,410 worth of items including a laptop computer, a television, DVDs, cell phone, a power drill and a watch on the 100 block of Middle Road;
— Theft by taking a pocket book on the 2800 block of Ledo road;
— Assault on the 1000 block of White Pond Road;
— Disturbance (domestic) on the 100 block of Pine Summit Drive and on the 2800 block of Palmyra Road.
