PREP BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Glenwood girls top Deerfield-Windsor

ALBANY — Deerfield-Windsor lost to Alabama Independent School power Glenwood 46-40 at Deerfield-Windsor Academy Tuesday night.
The Lady Knights (2-1) got 14 points from Kelsey King and 12 points from Alondra Calhoun in the loss.
Deerfield-Windsor will travel to defending Class AAA champion Bulloch Academy Friday night.
TERRELL ACADEMY GIRLS 54, FULLINGTON 34: Marilauren Farr led Terrell Academy to a nonregion victory over Fullington. Farr finished with 17 points to lead the way.
Alana McCook finished with 12 points, while Olivia Rogers added 10 as Terrell improved to 3-1 on the season.
BAINBRIDGE GIRLS 40, COLQUITT COUNTY 31: Patra Parris scored 12 points to help the Lady Bearcats top Colquitt County in their season opener. Asia Gordon added eight points for the Lady Bearcats (1-0)
GLENWOOD BOYS 64, DEERFIELD-WINDSOR BOYS 62: Deerfield-Windsor opened its season with a loss to Glenwood. The Knights (0-1) were led by Christian Wallace who finished with 20 points. Ryan Toole added 12 and Chandler Matthew tossed in 11.
TERRELL COUNTY BOYS 68, FULLINGTON 34: It was a banner night for Terrell Academy’s Conor Walsh, who finished with 19 points which put him over 1,000 points in his high school career.
Gable Freeman added 14 and Raleigh Carlson 16 for the Eagles, who improved to 3-1 on the season.
BAINBRIDGE BOYS 64, COLQUITT COUNTY 42: In a matchup pitting old region rivals against each other, Bainbridge outslugged Class AAAAAA Colquitt County in its season opener. The Bearcats used 23 points from Herald Super 6er Tyree Crump to pound the visiting Packers.
Trevon Shaw finished with 13 points for Bainbridge (1-0). Colquitt County was led by Shaheem Ponder’s 18 points.
SEMINOLE COUNTY 65, MITCHELL COUNTY 39: Seminole County pounded Mitchell in its season opener. The Indians (1-0) were led by Herald Super 6er Jordan Harris, who led all scorers with 27 points. Anfernee King added 14 for the Indians, while Dwayne Samson chipped in 11 points.
Late Monday
TERRELL COUNTY BOYS 69, SOUTHWEST GEORGIA 43: Terrell Academy used 16 points from Raleigh Carlson and 14 from Gable Freeman to top Southwest Georgia Academy in a late game on Monday.
Quinn Laguardia led the Warriors with 11 points.
