Former President Jimmy Carter is not scheduled to teach Sunday School this Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains. Carter’s next scheduled visit to the Plains church is Aug. 2.

The 2015 EFVM Commemoration Solemn Assembly will be Aug. 4-9 at Evangelical Faith Vision Ministries, 1506 S. Slappey Blvd. The theme is “Take the Limits off God.” Speakers will be Aug. 4, Pastor Earnestine Johnson, Living Word Tabernacle of Praise, Tallahassee; Aug. 5, Pastor Darnell Lundy, Evangelical Faith Vision Ministries Inc., Albany; Aug. 6, Apostle Felix L. Revills, senior pastor, Evangelical Faith Vision Ministries; Friday, Aug. 7, Overseer Shirley Denson, Meridian Holiness Deliverance Church, Meridian, Miss., and Aug. 9, Apostle E.W.
