PRESIDENT CARTER

Former President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to teach Sunday School on Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains. Carter will speak at 10 a.m. and the doors to the sanctuary will open at 8:30 p.m.

EVENTS

New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Baconton will conduct its annual youth revival Wednesday through Friday at 7 p.m. each date. The Rev. Napoleon Cooper of Cairo will be guest speaker. On May 18, the youth of the church will celebrate the annual Youth Day program with a message from the Rev. Craig Moore. The church is located at 9925 Stagecoach Road.
