Ribbon cutting for development set

LEESBURG — A ribbon-cutting ceremony for Forrester Senior Village, an independent living senior community, will take place at noon on Wednesday.
Peachtree Housing Developers LLC will host the event at 197 Forrester Parkway. Rick Muggridge of the Lee County Commission will be keynote speaker.
The new development offers 50 one and two bedroom homes starting at $400 per month. Each apartment offers washer and dryer connections as well as a full kitchen with appliances.
Forrester Senior Village also has a community center with a computer library, fitness center and laundry facility. Other amenities include a community garden, walking path and a picnic pavilion with grilling area.
The Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Affordable Equity Partners Inc. and Peach Housing Developers LLC are partners in the development.
