From staff reports

ALBANY – Crews will close a portion of Hobson Street and Clark Avenue in Albany beginning Monday at 8 a.m. to work on the combined sewer outfall project, city officials announced.

Hobson Street from East Roosevelt Avenue to Clark Avenue will be blocked, and Clark Avenue from Hobson Street to Dewey Street also will be closed. This will also cause Adkins Street to be blocked at Clark Avenue.

Eastbound Clark Avenue traffic will need to turn south on Dewey Street and then turn east on East Broad Avenue and come down to Blaylock Street and vice versa for westbound traffic.

There will be detour signs to help guide motorists around the road closures. Drivers should expect delays and plan accordingly.

The road closure will last until March 14 or until the CSO work is completed.
