‘She Me Her and Him’ will bring story of life challenges to the stage in Leesburg
“I wanted to give the audience a bird’s eye view of a way to face the challenges of life.”

LEESBURG – Lee County writer Bridgett Mack is bringing her play “She Me Her and Him” to the Lee County High School Theater on Aug. 1, with the performance coming along with bookbags and teacher’s bags containing school supplies for the new school year as it gets set to kick off.
The play will be presented at 5 p.m., with doors opening at 4:15 p.m. Tickets are available for $25 each at https://bmackwrites.com/.
The play focuses on the lives of three friends, Camille, Ebony and Tonya, and also brings Camille’s husband, Chris, and Ebony’s husband, Quinton, into the mix.
“They are all facing their own personal challenges that will put their lives, friendships and families to the test,” Mack said. “All three are facing their own personal trials and tribulations.”
A founder and leader at Real Faith Church in Leesburg with husband and pastor Travis Mack Sr., the writer, known online by her company name BMackWrites, said that she thinks her play will give the audience some insights into how to deal with conflict.
“I wanted to give the audience a bird’s-eye view of a way to face the challenges of life,” she said.
The play is suitable for children, said Mack, who has written more than 30 plays. Her previous works include the books “I Quit,” a testimonial about her comeback from bankruptcy, the sudden death of her sister and being kicked out of her church. She released her second book, “Breaking Point,” in 2020.
“It’s appropriate for children because it teaches them how to deal with conflict,” Mack said. “I’m also giving a voice to the men in the play. A lot of times, you don’t get that.”
Children also will be included in the giveaway of bookbags and school supplies Teacher’s bags and personal care bags for girls also will be distributed.
Proceeds from the production will go toward re-launching Lady in Wait, a training program for women that Mack previously operated.
“I’ll be doing this alongside my church family,” she said. “They are also helping to support this play.”
The audience also will be treated to a pre-show comedic skit featuring some of the characters from Mack’s “Elders” skits.
“I’m known online for my ‘Elders’ videos,” she said.
