Soccer team goes undefeated

The U-10 Red Star “Red” girls soccer team, which is ranked eighth in Georgia and 86th in the www.soccerincollege.com poll, won the Athens Finale earlier this month and finished this season 16-0, outscoring opponents, 116-12.
“This team had a spectacular season” manager Jodie Brogdon said. “We feel they set the bar very high for any team from this area to aim for.”
