ALBANY – The monthly food giveaway at St. Paul Baptist Church will feature fresh and cannedgoods, along with some treats including pork chops and milk.

“We’re going to have gallons and gallons of milk,” church member Princess Milledge said.

The church holds a food giveaway each month on the third Saturday. The event starts at 10 a.m. at 2605 Sylvester Road and last until supplies are exhausted.

Also on offer for Saturday are fresh apples, grapes and peaches and perhaps some other items if available.

Canned and boxed goods will include green beans, rice, corn, bread, cake and microwavable soup meals.

“The microwavable soup is for kids,” Milledge said. “We wanted something for kids.”
