TIFTON — At the recent Stafford Leadership Summit at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, the students in the Stafford School of Business gathered information that will provide them with a solid foundation in the business world.

Jay Rifenbary, the president of Rifenbary Training and Development, was the featured speaker. He spoke on “No Excuse: An Action Plan for Success.”

“Having Jay speak to our students was a high moment for the Stafford School of Business, and the students felt honored,” Renata Elad, dean of the Stafford School of Business, said. “We could not do this without our sponsors, and I am thankful for their desire to ensure we continue to produce ethical and capable professionals.”

An inspiring speaker, Rifenbary talked on what he called the “Triple Crown of Leadership,” which involved ethics, integrity, being vulnerable and how these core values affect individuals on a personal and professional level.

A project of the Business Advisory Council, the sponsors for the event included Allen Pritchett and Bassett LLP and Stafford Development.
