SYLVESTER — Two burglary suspects were arrested with stolen goods on Tuesday after Sylvester police received a tip on their whereabouts.

Lt. Kenneth Washington with the Sylvester Police Department said that around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Officer Adam Celinski observed a silver Ford Ranger leaving the residence at 508 Willingham St., which had been broken into.

Celinski apprehended the suspects, Washington said, and discovered a stolen 50 inch Emerson flat screen television valued at $699 in the vehicle.

According to Washington, occupants of the ranger, Michael Thomas Griffin, 38, of Moultrie and Terri Diane Young, 27, of Worth County were charged with burglary in the first degree and transported to the Turner County jail because of overcrowded conditions at the Worth County Jail.
