TIFTON — Jeff Robbins, director of neurodiagnostics and telehealth for Tift Regional Medical Center, was recently awarded the “10 Years of Telehealth Excellence” award by the Global Partnership for Telehealth.

More than 150 attendees participated in the 10th annual Georgia Telehealth conference at Lake Blackshear.

During the conference, an award ceremony was held to honor and recognize those who have made telehealth a priority and who have shown innovation in using telehealth to improve community health.

Robbins was given the award for his efforts in the telehealth field.

“Jeff was as an early adopter of telehealth and has worked tirelessly over the past 10-plus years to make telehealth a priority for TRMC and the surrounding communities,” Global Partnership for Telehealth COO Sherrie Williams said. “He is a sought-after expert on telehealth and implementation.”
