Traffic crash with one dead

Shawn O. Davis, 36, died after the 2003 Cadillac Escalade he was driving west on Liberty expressway left the road at the southbound exit for North Slappey Boulevard and crashed.

Davis was not wearing his seat belt, said Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the Albany Police Department. The Escalade was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Police are investigating the crash.
