ALBANY — Two South Albany teens walking on Harding Street just after midnight on Thursday were shot by an unknown suspect in a drive-by shooting, police officials say.

Robert Dawson and Donnell Taylor, both 18, told police they were walking south on Harding Street near Holloway Avenue around 12:30 a.m. when they were approached by a gray Oldsmobile. An unknown person or persons then fired shots from inside the car, the victims said, striking both Taylor and Holloway.

According to Phyllis Banks, spokesperson for the Albany Police Department, both victims were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment. Their condition has not been released. No arrests have been made in the case, which remains under investigation, Banks said.
