Two killed, five injured in Wednesday afternoon crash
Two Naomi Plantation workers were killed and five were injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash on Wildfair Road.

ALBANY – A Wednesday-afternoon auto crash claimed the lives of two and injured an additional five people.
Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler identified the deceased as Isel Perdomo Aquino, 57, and 47-year-old Jorge Montano Adame.
The single-vehicle crash on the 2200 block of Wildfair Road was reported at about 4 p.m., according to information released by Dougherty County officials. The occupants of the van were employed at Naomi Plantation, and preliminary reports said that the van left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The deceased were in the front seat of the van. The five injured passengers were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. One of the passengers had critical injuries, four had less serious injuries and one passenger was able to exit the van and had what were considered to be non-serious injuries.
In a separate incident, a fatal shooting that occurred on Wednesday evening has been ruled to have been the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Albany police responded to Country Place Apartments in the 4000 block of Gillionville Road at about 7:50 p.m. There they discovered the body of David Blair, 19.
