UNREVIEWED: 7-month-old twins reported dead in Crisp County car crash

A Mercury Montego crashed and killed 7-month-old twins before 4:39 a.m. today on highway 300 near Culpepper Drive in Crisp County, said a Georgia State Patrol spokeswoman.
The driver was from Albany, the GSP spokeswoman said. The driver was taken to Crisp Regional Hospital, she added. It was a single car crash.
No further information, including the driver’s name was available.

According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in the Albany metro area was approximately $3.45 this week, making Albany the second-least expensive metro market in Georgia behind Dalton at $3.41 and slightly ahead of Brunswick at $3.48.
