ALBANY — A small but enthusiastic crowd braved persistent rains Friday for the grand opening of the first little library in Albany. Dougherty County School Board candidate Melissa Strother brought the concept to the community and has already committed to building and placing four more of the little libraries. More than 6,000 of the free book exchanges have been set up nationwide.
