Woman found dead inside Albany Motel

The woman, who has yet to be publicly identified, was found just before 8 p.m. Monday night, police officials say.

A person of interest is being interviewed by police, however no arrests have been made and police have not released the cause or manner of death.

As a matter of policy, the APD investigates all suspicious deaths as it would a homicide until it can be proven otherwise.
